Suffer the Little Children

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me..."— Matthew 19:14 (KJV)

I read an excellent piece on abortion by Chuck Colson of Prison Fellowship Ministries. I'm very passionate about this issue. I believe the unborn children are some of the most, if no the most, vulnerable members of society. They cannot speak in defense of themselves nor voice their rights. God says they are a gift from Him (Psalm 127:3).

Furthermore, we are directedby the Word of God to 'open our mouths" for or defend the speechless (Proverbs 31:8).

Here's some of what Chuck had to say:

Life...God's Most Precious Gift

In case you have any doubts, I am adamantly pro-life.

Today marks the 34th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on abortion. The always eloquent, La Shawn Barber has a great post today on the abortion issue. Check it out!

National Sanctity of Human Life Day

By proclamation of the President of the United States, today is National Sanctity of Human Life Day. As the President says, it is a day to  "underscore our commitment to respecting and protecting the life and dignity of every human being".

Townhall columnist Floyd Brown has an excellent piece on Ronald Reagan and the Annual March for Life that will be held on the Washington Mall Monday. Here's my favorite part of the article,

"Abortion was, in President Reagan’s view, an infringement on God’s sacred command to protect innocent human life. Indeed, Reagan felt so passionately about the right to life that he felt without it, other rights had no meaning. He called the restoration of the right to life the most important challenge facing the character of America. President Reagan believed that the continuance of abortion, the taking of some 4,000 lives of children everyday, would only bring about trouble for America. He even posed the ominous question: “Do you really think… God will protect us in a time of crisis even as we turn away from him in our day-to- day life?”

I firmly believe our country has, collectively, turned it's back against God and Christ. But many are blinded and simply can't see this. Abortion is just one of the many symptoms of this national sickness.

Abortion & Black Dehumanization

Hey folks, I came across a great article today by WorldNetDaily columnist, Jill Stanek. Stanek, if you can recall, is the nurse who fought to stop "live-birth abortion" after witnessing one while working at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill. Anyway, she writes about the Chicago GOP’s pro-life editorial accusing Democrats of dehumanizing blacks through their support of abortion:

In conjunction with Black History Month, the Chicago GOP wrote a profound pro-life editorial blaming the Democrat "pro-slavery" Party of "black genocide" because of its pro-abortion position:

One of the most infamous cases ever decided by a Democrat-controlled court was the Dred Scott case ... The result of Dred Scott was to strip African Americans of their standing under the law and thereby prevent them from ever exercising political power for the good of their people. Roe v. Wade subtly accomplishes the same ends by a different means.

The black population is curbed by convincing black mothers that their unborn children are only property which will financially destroy them, so it is in their interests and the interests of society to kill them. African Americans can thank the Democratic Party and its unyielding support for Roe v. Wade ... for today's veritable black genocide. Today's Democrats continue to advocate a society in which certain people are stripped of their humanity and denied political power.

Well, glory be! Got to hand it to these folks. They have guts. They stood up and spoke the truth to blacks and this during Black History month. Excuse me for a moment while I wipe these tears of joy from my eyes. If only more black pastors & politicians we speak like this. There are a few out there who are but we need a bunch more following suit.

And this is what happens when the liberal Democrats catch wind of the truth:

I blogged on the Cook County Republican Party's brave effort to bring the truth about the racist agenda of Democrats and Planned Parenthood to African Americans.I linked in my blog post to an ad by LifeCommercials.com titled, "Why?" This ad exposes the eugenic agenda of Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger. I isolated one of Sanger's quotes from the ad as an illustration for my post: "We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population ..."

One place I blog is Illinoize, a gathering hole of political bloggers in the Land Formerly of Lincoln. Illinoize is inhabited predominantly by liberals. I didn't quite fathom before I blogged how sacred are the Democrat Party and Planned Parenthood cows to liberals. But here is one sample of 139 mostly furious comments I received:

Jill Stanek is an animal. Absolutely an animal, and the Cook County GOP, the most irrelevant political organization in the country, is disgusting, and whatever hack consulting firm they're using for this ... are (sic) hate-mongering punks. Margaret Sanger said those words but, of course, meant the exact opposite – she was quoting a concern.

Now, I hope this opens everyone’s eyes on how the truth works. It cutss like a two-edged sword opening the festering sores of lies and deceit and allows a purifying and healing light to come in. I’ve this a number times before: as Christians, we must stand up and proclaim God’s infinite truth contained in His Word, the Bible. When we do this, we shed light on darkened minds and souls leading to freedom in Christ.

Trick or Treat for Families?

I'm finally back after some technical difficulties with my blog site provider.

Check out Barbara Simpson’s article on "Parents' Right to Know and Child Protection" California Proposition 73. As a parent and a resident of California, I believe this one's worth the fight to keep Big Government from further intruding into our lives.

Also, take a look at Mark La Roi's post on on abortion.
