It Has to Make You Wonder
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
James:13-14
This one comes to us out of Sacramento, CA:

Published 4:57 pm PDT Saturday, May 5, 2007A well-known roofing contractor from Carmichael died Saturday afternoon after he was struck by a falling tree branch in Sacramento's Miller Park, according to authorities.
Roger Wayne Langbehn, 53, had just finished competing in the annual Anderson Derby, a striped bass fishing tournament, with three close friends. He had sat down at a concrete picnic table to eat a barbecue lunch while prizes were announced when the tree branch fell and hit his head, according to friends and officials.
The accident occurred about 1 p.m., said Capt. Jim Doucette, Sacramento Fire Department spokesman. Langbehn was pronounced dead at the scene.
Doucette said employees with the city parks department responded to the scene to determine what caused the branch to fall.
Langbehn is survived by his wife, Pam, and two children.
