I'm Sick of It!

I don't know about you folks, but I'm sick and tired of hearing about homosexuality. Gay marriage, Jim McGreevey ,Tom Foley, Jim Webb,Ted Haggard, Catholic priests, and so on. What does this say about us as a society when it seems this seems to be the #1 focus in our media and entertainment?

I refuse, for now, to write about the Ted Haggard mess. I leave that up to the more eloquent , like LaShawn Barber.  She pretty much tells it like it 'tis. Check out her blog.

In the mean time, as for me,  Romans 1 is a good read.

1 - When you are sick and tired of hearing about homosexuality, that shows that there is an overload of all these news. And why is there an overload? Because gay men do exist in this world and they have NOT been given equal rights. They have been ignored and they want the same status as straights. That's why it is important to give them what they want and make them zip out! But straight Americans are ignoring them completely. Why can't we be more accomodating like those Dutch, Scandinavians, Canadians? It is time for straight Americans to make some deep thought now. (Comment this)

Thanks for your comment. However, I believe your sadly misguided. The homosexual population of this country is at most 3%. So why should such a small minority command so much attention in the media? Besides that,let me be right up front, homosexutality is sin in God's eyes. No sin is greater than another. The sin of homosexuality is no more, or no less a sin than murder, adultery, stealing, lying, gossiping, or gluttony. But the reason this sin is being singled out and addressed is because those who comit it are proud of their sin and promote it as an acceptable lifestyle, while denying it's destructiveness to themselves, the family and the nation overall.
